Christian Vorholt
A trained food technician from Raesfeld/Germany, has been active as a painter in the abstract and informal style for several years. The artist has mainly devoted himself to acrylic painting, but also loves experimenting with pure pigments. In addition to charcoal, pencil / graphite and chalk are also used for striking contours. The sensitive painter, who always questions himself and his art, sees the creative process as a creative adventure on the way to the finished picture.
Christian Vorholt acquired his art knowledge and ability to paint by studying at the Institute for Training in Fine Arts and Art Therapy in Bochum (IBKK / course painting and graphics). From 2014 to 2017 he successfully completed the master class there with Prof. Piotr Sonnewend / IBKK Bochum. Since then he has presented his work as a painter in North Rhine-Westphalia, among others in Bochum-Wattenscheid and Hagen, Ahaus and Reken. With the exhibition in “Kerkje de Rietstap” in Dinxperlo in the municipality of Aalten near the Dutch-German border, Christian Vorholt is showing his work in the Netherlands for the first time.
