Women and sometimes men, too,  meet in the needlework café to exercise their respective hobbies together. Everyone brings his own needlework. This can be knitting, crocheting, embroidery, creating Frivolité lace or Hardanger embroidery, as well as weaving or any other needlework technique. The intention is to learn from each other or to inspire each other to learn or pass on new techniques or patterns. Information on the materials used, such as threads, needles and other accessories and where they can be obtained, is also passed on. Furthermore it’s very cozy and there’s no shortage of things to talk about.

The social aspect can certainly be seen as a pillar of the meetings.

The participants of the needlework café meet without obligation every Thursday from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. in the Kulturhus in Dinxperlo. There is no obligation to come every week. The meetings are free of charge, you only have to pay for drinks.
