Self-taught

Pottery and ceramics training, then worked at:

• Pottery R. Bos in Bussum
• Potterie de Lelie in Bussum [own company]

Plastering and general construction work.

Built his own house with mosaic floor and style elements in Rotsterhaule in Friesland in the 1990s.

First artistic activity at the age of 11, when he carved a table leg out of oak with a hammer and chisel, which is still in the artist’s possession.

He is working with various materials such as clay, stone, wood, metal, synthetic resin, paint and various upcycling materials.

Lighting production on order.

Currently mainly aluminum and bronze casting.

The artist is working on several objects at the same time, with one work inspiring him to work on others. Time is not important.

The motivation is: “What’s in it, has to come out”. Material or spatial obstacles should not play a role.

• Ceramics in Gallery Oude Gracht in Utrecht
• Ceramics in the gallery in Waddinxveen
• Stonework in “De Stenen Poort” in Borkel en Schaft
• Cast aluminum head in “Expo3D” in Pelt, Belgium
• Permanent exhibition in his own studio in Heerenveen, viewing possible by appointment.
